Trains VR Game Released for Samsung Gear VR
An alumnus of McCarrell Christian Academy, Hector Mariscal also studied law enforcement at Morton College, then chose to work for Chicago's Metra upon graduating. After starting out as a foreman assistant, Hector Mariscal now works for the company in the capacity of lead conductor of trains and serves as vice president of union local 653.
As of May 1, owners of the Samsung Gear VR can re-live the experience of building model railways and enjoy a ride around the tracks through the Trains VR game. Developed by The House of Fables, Trains VR allows users to experiment with different railroad designs in an ultra-realistic setting complete with built-in surrounding accessories like park benches, fences, and shrubs.
The goal of the casual puzzle game is to build the most effective railway layout through solving puzzles. Once the track is complete, players can experience a first-hand view of what it's like to drive in the train and, while doing so, can pick up up cargo and use tunnels, turntables, and switches to solve potential logistical issues.
